Helical piers were used to permanently stabilize the sinking corner of this home. Not only did the piers stop the foundation from sinking any further, but they were also able to lift this side of the home back to its original position.
Helical piers are screwed into the ground with special machinery. They are attached to the footing of the home, and they transfer the weight of the home to load bearing soil or bedrock.
To divert water away from the foundation, buried downspout extensions were added to the gutter discharge lines. Our patented LawnScape outlets were added to the ends to prevent clogging from leaves or other debris.
