This foundation was shifting and settling due to the weakened soils below. The evidence was apparent via these large vertical cracks that had appeared along the brick walls.
We permanently stabilized the foundation walls using the PowerBrace system. These zinc-plated steel beams are custom fit and tightly secured to the walls via brackets anchored to the floor and floor joists. Its unique design allows the system to be tightened over time, potentially reversing the wall failure without any invasive digging or drilling.
