Photo Album: Floor Stabilizing in Jacksonville, FL
We permanently stabilized this home's sagging floors by installing SmartJacks throughout the crawl space. These steel piers stop settlement in its tracks and may even lift the floors above back to their original position.
SmartJack Installation
When installing a SmartJack, the first step is to dig a two-foot cube of soil where the jack will be installed. The hole is then filled with concrete to create a stable, load bearing footing. A custom base is set in place and leveled at the top of the fill to hold the SmartJack in place and properly distribute the load.
Crew Hard at Work
Our crew of trained experts are ready to get down and dirty in the crawl space.
Steel Supplemental Beam
This home's beams were no longer supporting the weight of the home due to excessive moisture damage, so we installed steel supplemental beams with the SmartJacks to ensure long-term foundation protection!
