We using our Foundation Helical Pier System to stabilize this customers settled foundation. Helical piers stabilize foundations by being screwed into the ground until they reach a stable soil layer. Brackets are then attached to the piers and the foundation, transferring the load from the unstable soil to the stable layer, effectively lifting and stabilizing the foundation.
This detached guest house was experiencing foundational settlement. The existing support beams were sinking into the weakened soils, causing the floors to sag and doors to stick. Our expert crew permanently stabilized this foundation with the use of SmartJacks. These high-capacity steel piers are specially designed to stop settlement and even lift the floors above back to their original position.
These gutter discharge lines were dumping water too close to the home's foundation. This was causing a consistent issue with pools of standing water and damp soils, which can lead to serious foundational failure. Our expert crew installed buried gutter downspout extensions to direct the water to a safe distance away from the home. They removed and replaced the concrete from where the new extensions would pass through, and left everything looking as good as before - just drier and stronger!
This formerly moist and musty crawl space got a brand new look and feel after our expert crew worked some waterproofing magic.
